GLPI Agent version 1.12 is now available!

  • For the Deploy task:
    • Command checks now corrected in some cases
    • With P2P support, the agent no longer scans "network" and "broadcast" addresses
    • "sha512" fingerprint check now supports uppercase hashes
  • For the Collect task:
    • "sha512" fingerprint check now supports uppercase hashes
    • "checkSumSHA2" is now renamed to "checkSumSHA256" and supports "sha256" checks
  • For the ESX task:
    • ESX virtual machines can now report IP and OS (requires GLPI 10.0.17+ on the server)

      • Fixed support for HP devices with invalid firmware dates
      • Agent now avoids sending a discovery XML from a NetScan task from the ToolBox
    • For the Deploy task:
      • Command checks now corrected in some cases
      • With P2P support, the agent no longer scans "network" and "broadcast" addresses
      • "sha512" fingerprint check now supports uppercase hashes
    • For the Collect task:
      • "sha512" fingerprint check now supports uppercase hashes
      • "checkSumSHA2" is now renamed to "checkSumSHA256" and supports "sha256" checks
    • For the ESX task:
      • ESX virtual machines can now report IP and OS (requires GLPI 10.0.17+ on the server)
      • Total ESX memory guessed and reported as memory component
    • For the ToolBox plugin:
      • Fixed start of enabled jobs and related logging
      • Counter updates no longer require debug mode to be enabled

    Package highlights:

    • On Windows, Perl is now compiled with OpenSSL v3.4.0, and libraries libxml2 v2.13.6, libssh2 v1.11.1, and libiconv 1.18
    • MacOSX package uses OpenSSL v3.4.0
    • Perl installer for Linux now supports the --delaytime option
    • Linux installer on “dnf”-based systems now disables GPG check for local packages during install
