GLPI at Open Source Experience 2025: conferences, partners, and new features.

Open Source Experience 2025 brought together key players in open source, free software, and IT service management (ITSM). For GLPI, this edition was an opportunity to strengthen its visibility, present the new features of GLPI 11, and highlight its partner ecosystem.

Over two days, the GLPI teams engaged with IT professionals, decision-makers, and partners around current challenges in asset management, ESM, and responsible digital practices.

A GLPI booth dedicated to open-source ITSM and project discussions.

For Open Source Experience 2025, GLPI designed a booth structured around three complementary areas, created to meet visitors’ expectations:

  • A conference area, to present GLPI 11 and its new features, bringing together more than 200 participants.
  • A demo area, allowing visitors to discover the GLPI solution and its various features in a practical way.
  • A partner area, dedicated to project discussions with GLPI integrators and experts.

This format encouraged technical discussions, focused demonstrations, and exchanges around real IT projects.

More than 200 participants at the GLPI workshops.

The GLPI workshops and talks attracted strong interest during the event.
More than 200 people attended the various sessions over the two days, confirming GLPI’s appeal within the open source ecosystem.

Focus on conference highlights

  • GLPI 11: take it to the next level
Led by Chloé Robin and Pierre Lebel, this workshop presented the new features of GLPI 11, with a focus on real-world use cases and key improvements for IT teams.

During this sponsored session, Econocom and Eoris (GLPI Platinum Partner) shared field feedback on GLPI implementation, highlighting the value of the open-source solution for IT service management.
  • Measuring the environmental impact of digital services with open-source tools
A workshop dedicated to GLPI Carbon, led by François Déchelle, Afnic, and IRT SystemX, focusing on measuring the environmental impact of digital technologies and the challenges of IT sobriety.

GLPI Platinum partners, key players at the event

Open Source Experience 2025 also highlighted the strength of the GLPI partner network. Three of our Platinum partners: EORIS, ITSM Factory, and Infotel, were present at the booth, with a dedicated space.

Their mission:

  • Support GLPI clients and prospects
  • Discuss ITSM and ESM projects
  • Represent GLPI and its field expertise

This joint presence illustrates the importance of partnerships in the success of GLPI projects and the deployment of effective open-source IT solutions.

GLPI, an open-source ITSM solution at the heart of the community

Beyond the conferences, Open Source Experience 2025 featured numerous informal discussions, demonstrations, and meetings with the open-source community.

These two days confirmed GLPI’s position as a leading open-source solution for IT service management, asset management, and responsible IT practices.

Thank you to all visitors, speakers, and partners for these rich and constructive exchanges.
