On 23 and 24 June 2026, the GLPI team attended the CoTer Numérique Congress in Reims — one of the key annual gatherings for IT decision-makers in French local government.
A stand at the centre of the conversation
Set up at stand n°3 (Espace Parvis), the team spent two days meeting a broad cross-section of the public sector: representatives from Regions, Departments, intermunicipal bodies, and municipalities of all sizes.
Discussions ranged from service desk restructuring and agent request automation to IT asset management — a good reflection of how varied the operational needs are across public organisations.
Workshop: GLPI V11 for public sector IT departments
The highlight of our participation was a dedicated workshop on GLPI V11: "GLPI V11: the sovereign solution to control your IT assets", held in Salle 9.
Led by Laurent (Channel Manager) and Patrice Vaillant (official GLPI trainer), the session walked through the key features of V11 with a public sector lens:
- Sovereign control of the IT environment — full visibility over assets, workflows, and sensitive data, with no dependency on third-party cloud providers
- Operational efficiency gains — unified asset view, automation of repetitive tasks, and strategic reporting for cost optimisation
- IT service lifecycle — new V11 capabilities for day-to-day operational management
The session also featured feedback from local authorities already running GLPI, illustrating how the solution handles regulatory and budgetary constraints in practice.

Thank you
This edition of CoTer Numérique confirmed that open source is increasingly central to public sector IT strategy — not as an alternative, but as a deliberate choice.
Thank you to our Gold partner Axess for their presence at the event, to our speakers, and to all the public organisations who took the time to visit and share their projects.
