GLPI was at VivaTech 2026, celebrating its 10th edition — the flagship global tech event in Paris — and this one delivered on every front. Set up at the We Are Normandy pavilion (Stand 2B59 – Hall 7.2), the Teclib' team spent three days building connections with institutional figures, large enterprise clients, local government representatives, and IT practitioners, in a context where digital sovereignty and eco-responsibility are more central than ever. Here is a look back at the highlights.
Day 1: Ministerial Visit and ITSM for Large Organizations
The first day hit the ground running, with a steady flow of meetings from the moment the doors opened.
A visit from Édouard Philippe
Pascal Aubry, CEO of Teclib', had the opportunity to speak with Édouard Philippe, former Prime Minister of France and current Mayor of Le Havre. On the agenda: GLPI's growth trajectory, Teclib's roots in Normandy, and the fundamental role of open source in digital sovereignty. A proud moment for the whole team.
Meeting Air Liquide and Wavestone
We were pleased to connect with Wavestone, a leading European digital transformation consultancy, who directed several of their clients to our stand after identifying GLPI as a key solution for their projects.
A highlight of the afternoon: welcoming Air Liquide to the stand. The visit was an opportunity to demonstrate concretely how GLPI meets the ITSM and governance requirements of large enterprises, where reliability, auditability, and integration are non-negotiable.
Conference: GLPI and Its Global Evolution
To close the day, Laurent Lara took the stage for a conference tracing the history of GLPI, from its origins to its international deployment. He covered the roadmap evolution, the platform's latest features, and GLPI's strategic shift from ITSM to ESM (Enterprise Service Management) — an expansion that positions GLPI well beyond the IT perimeter alone.
Day 2: Normandy Momentum and the Carbon Footprint of IT
The second day confirmed the energy of the show, with a recurring theme running through every conversation: eco-responsible technology.
Meeting with Caen la mer
Normandy was doubly represented. The team welcomed Emmanuel Renard, municipal councillor of Caen la mer. A quality exchange on how local governments rely on GLPI to optimize their services, and on the Normandy digital ecosystem in full development.
Conference: GLPI Carbon and Green IT
One of the most anticipated sessions of the programme: Arthur Schaefer led a conference entirely dedicated to GLPI Carbon. He showed how GLPI now makes it possible to measure, track, and reduce the carbon footprint tied to the lifecycle of IT assets. At a time when CSR has become a priority for IT departments, this plugin addresses a very real need.
Day 3: Networking, Plugins, and a Final Conference
The third day ran at a calmer pace, which gave the team room for more in-depth conversations.
We were able to advise GLPI administrators on their configurations, guide prospects through the platform, and answer practical questions from IT professionals. The steady flow of visitors to the stand confirmed strong interest in the solution, well beyond the official conference sessions.
Conference: Optimizing and Securing Your GLPI Instance with SCIM, OAuthSSO, and Branding
Moving away from broad overviews, Amaury and Pierre led a practical, field-oriented final conference focused on three plugins that have become essential for organizations looking to go further with GLPI:
- SCIM — automated user provisioning and synchronization with identity providers
- OAuthSSO — single sign-on integration to simplify and secure authentication
- Branding — customizing the GLPI interface to match your organization's identity

VivaTech 2026: A Wrap
Three intense days, dozens of exchanges, three lively conferences, and some great encounters — from long-time users to major industrial accounts like Air Liquide.
This edition was a real success for GLPI. It confirms the growing interest in a sovereign open source model, and in a more responsible approach to IT, embodied by our Tech for Change certification.
