GLPI na GITEX Africa 2026: Três Dias de Conexões, Inovação e Influência em Marrakech

GLPI made its mark at GITEX Africa 2026 in Marrakech for an edition defined by strategic encounters, new partnerships, and a growing presence across the African continent.

What is GITEX Africa, and why was GLPI there?

GITEX Africa is the leading technology exhibition on the African continent, bringing together thousands of professionals, decision-makers, startups, and public institutions from across Africa and beyond. Since its inception, it has become the key gathering point for those shaping digital transformation across the region.

For GLPI, participating means being present where decisions are made and making the case for open-source ITSM/ESM as the right infrastructure to support the region's growth.

This year, GLPI was present on two separate stands: our own booth within the French Pavilion, and alongside our local partner Alton at the APEBI village, reflecting the depth of our network across the Maghreb and the wider continent.

The eve of the show: an invitation to the French Consulate

The event began before the show floor even opened. Teclib' was invited to the French Consulate in Marrakech for the official GITEX Africa launch reception, held at the French Consular Residence. The evening was an opportunity to build strategic connections with tech leaders from across the region.

We had the pleasure of meeting Quentin Teisseire, Consul General of France, and Anne Le Henanff, Minister Delegate for AI and Digital Affairs, for a rich exchange on the challenges shaping tomorrow's digital landscape.

Day 1: Networking and the GLPI team at the French Pavilion

The first day was marked by active networking and strategic conversations at our stand in the French Pavilion.

The highlight was a visit from Anne Le Henanff, Minister Delegate for AI and Digital Affairs, for a direct discussion on the future of technology.

It was also an opportunity to spotlight the growing role of women in tech: our experts carried GLPI's flag at this international show, a reflection of the values we stand for every day.

Day 2: New partnerships and an interview on Radio 2M

Day 2 brought a new series of strategic encounters and concrete discussions with prospective partners from across the African continent.

GLPI on air: Chloé Robin, our Marketing and Communication Director, was interviewed live on Radio 2M to explain why GLPI participates in GITEX Africa and share our upcoming innovations, a good sign of the interest the GLPI project is generating in the region.

Day 3: Zabbix, thank-yous, and closing thoughts

The final day brought a key announcement: the formalization of our partnership with Zabbix, a new technology partner. This alliance between the open-source monitoring leader and GLPI marks an important step toward more integrated infrastructure management.

Meeting in Marrakech to seal this partnership sends a clear signal to the tech ecosystem in Africa.

Stay tuned, more news is coming soon.

That's a wrap on the 4th edition of GITEX Africa!

Three days in Marrakech, and a great result for the team. From the Consulate reception to the conversations on our stands, GLPI continues to build its presence across the African continent.

A big thank you to everyone who made this possible:

  • Christian Pineau and Denise Bared (International Boost) for their warm hospitality and coordination within the French Pavilion.
  • Our local partner Alton, for welcoming us at their stand in the APEBI village.
  • And everyone who stopped by our stand to connect with us.
