{"id":442511,"date":"2026-09-18T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-18T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.glpi-project.org\/?p=442511"},"modified":"2026-09-16T15:17:18","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T13:17:18","slug":"10-km-du-trocadero-2026-the-glpi-team-ran-for-arsla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.glpi-project.org\/en\/10-km-du-trocadero-2026-the-glpi-team-ran-for-arsla\/","title":{"rendered":"10 km du Trocad\u00e9ro 2026: the GLPI team ran for ARSLA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Sunday, September 6, the GLPI team took part in the 10 km du Trocad\u00e9ro in Paris, one of the city's classic urban races, with a route offering a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Running for ARSLA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the physical challenge, the team ran in support of ARSLA (Association pour la Recherche sur la Scl\u00e9rose Lat\u00e9rale Amyotrophique), the French association leading the fight against Charcot's disease. ARSLA's work covers three main areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Funding research:<\/strong> supporting scientific projects on motor neuron diseases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Supporting patients:<\/strong> lending adapted medical equipment and helping caregivers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Raising awareness:<\/strong> informing the public and defending patients' rights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staying true to the values of solidarity and collective effort that drive our community, running this race was a way to combine team spirit with a concrete act of support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A collective effort<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ahead of the race, the team opened a fundraiser for ARSLA, and many of you responded with encouragement and donations. That support made the challenge worth taking on, just as much as the 10 kilometres themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The fundraiser stays open<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The race is over, but the fight against Charcot's disease continues.
