Topic: Bug: Change Printer Cartridge and save Counter

Today I have upgraded to version 0.83 and discovered the following bug:

In GLPI, we also manage the printer and toner levels.
If you change the toner in a printer (in GLPI, the toner is set to blank) and the current count is entered (update), then all the old toner cartridge will be marked als installed in the device. They walk in the view from the bottom up and could now be marked as empty.
Does anyone here have a solution for us?

I don't understand your problem.
When i change the cartridge of my printer, i click on End of life for the precedent cartridge and then, i can choose an other one.
Where do you see that all old cartridge will be marked as installed in the printer ?
Can you explain specifically your actions ?

Prod : RHEL 4.6/5.4 - php 5.1.6/5.2.13 + APC + memcached - MySQL 5.0.45 - OCS 1.01 - GLPI 0.83.8 svn  (>130 000 PMF - 334 entités)
Dev : Fedora 14 - PHP 5.4.12 - .GLPI 0.84 SVN - GLPI 0.85 SVN

This ist correct, in the German Frontend i click on empty
The old Cartridge move down to Worn cartridges and there i fill out the Printer Counter and press the update Button to save the counter. Then all "worn cartridges" move up to "used cartridges"

I'm looking for debug it.

hi yllen,

i have done update with your solution, but i can't see anything update on page. i don't find anything button or something to triger catridge move to Worn cartridges and counter it.
